MONDAY
OK so if you’re a fan of big flavours and you like a classic Caesar salad you *have* to try this recipe.
Well at least the sauce part. It’s so so good.
In fact I think I’m going to change my plans for dinner tonight so I can have more of this sauce.
It has it all, creamy mayonnaise, sweet and savoury umami from the Worcestershire sauce and again more umami from the parmesan. We’re talking layers of flavour with just three ingredients.
Trust me your taste buds will be having a party in your mouth.

TUESDAY
This Indian omelette was initially going to be a Moroccan inspired dish. And then I cleaned out my spice box and realized I had lots of Garam Masala which needed using up.
Sometimes the best inspiration comes from asking ‘what do I need to use up?’ rather than what do I feel like…

WEDNESDAY
After years of buying into the fear-mongering around soy, I decided to experiment with tofu again because it’s such a convenient form of protein.
I love how it will happily sit in the fridge for months. I love how nutritionally it counts as both protein and vegetable.
And I LOVE how it’s blandness makes it the perfect accompaniment for strong flavours.

THURSDAY
Burgers with Quick Tomato Sauce
Burgers are always a crowd pleaser and tend to be good for the budget as well. We have burgers in some form every few weeks.
This method for cooking the burgers on a fine bed of salt is the best thing if you don’t have time to fire up the BBQ.
As the burgers cook the salt helps the juices congeal and brown to form a super tasty crust.

FRIDAY
Salmon, Pea & Prosciutto Oven Supper
Have you ever got to the end of a long day and wished that dinner would just cook itself?
Me too.
And while I haven’t been able to create a robot that could do that for me, I do know the next best thing.
It’s called the Oven Supper and here’s the idea…

SWEET TREAT
Do you need a recipe to put grapes in the freezer? Of course not.
BUT is it a super delicious idea that is more delicious than many a ‘healthy’ ice cream.
Ab-sol-utely!
