  • Hey Jules, I have downloaded the app but how can I bring across my old favourites under my login to the favourites on the app? It doesnt have some of the old recipes coming up

  • Click on “Add to My Inbox” just above the recipe title to add recipes that only post the option of “Old Favourites” to “My Favourites”. Please post this or a similar instruction on the “Old Favourites” page. You can delete my prior comment.

    • Will do Deb! Thanks for the suggestion – I appreciate you sharing this idea to make life easier for everyone 🙂

  • Hi Jules,
I’ve transferred all my recipes to My New favourites apart from 6 of them as they are on the old format. When you get a chance would you be able to change these into the new format please:
    1. Simplest eggplant with tom & pesto
    2. Pecan crusted sweet potato
    3. Chickpea burgers with yoghurt sauce
    4. Cashew nut sauce
    5. Homemade falafels
    6. Lentil balls with tom sauce
    My other question is:
Within the Inbox is it possible to move/reorder recipes as I find it easier to find things by category rather than by when they were saved.
Thanks heaps, enjoying trying out new combinations!
    Jane

    • Caroline will email you when they’re done Jane 🙂

For the inbox – you can’t actually organise recipes in the inbox list itself.

BUT what you can do is create a new collection which you can organize by category (or however you like) / and add notes. You can then add the recipe from your inbox to this new collection (or collections) you can create as many as you like.

Have a play with it – and if you want more help – just shout and I can create a training video for you 🙂

  • Hi Jules,
I’ve missed the information on how to transfer my recipes from My Old Favourites to My new Favourites.
    Thanks.

  • Hi Jules,

I have 8 recipes remaining in ‘Old Favorites’ that I have been unable to move to my inbox. I would like to save these as I have used them often and I am afraid someday they will be deleted. Can you let me know how to move them?

    Thanks,
    Linda

    • I’m glad you asked Linda!

Let me know which recipes they are (just leave a comment here with the list) and I’ll get Caroline to prioritize transferring them to the new format for you.

  • Dear Jules,
where/what is this mouthwatering recipe with the fat noodles above – with the text “My favourite recipes”? even with almost no stomach at all since 2 months, I’d like to try it… Thanks for all & everything, you’re such an amazing warm-hearted splendid lady and it’s my favourite site.
    Greetings from Austria-Salzburg, ChristaJo

  • Hi Jules, There is one place that named “my old favorites” and second one named “my new favorites”. Are these the same thing with 2 different names?

    • Excellent question Lynn – they’re 2 different things.

The new favourites is where the meal plans and recipes end up when you save them to your inbox. Use this one because longer term we’ll migrate everything across to the new format and phase out the old favourites.

The old favourites is an older system we have for people to save recipes to their own old favourites page.

Because we’re in transition between the two systems for now we have both.

      Sorry it’s confusing.

      Does that make sense?

      • What’s the easiest way to make sure my old favorites don’t get lost? Do I need to transfer them to the new favorites? Thanks!

        • Yes that’s the best Murphy – you’ll need to do it one-by-one. Let me know if you have any favourite recipes that need updating to the new format so you can copy them across.

  • Jules, I had some recipes saved from before. Now they are gone. How can I find my list and save them to the new system, or is that possible? Not a huge issue, but I don’t remember all of them (there were only about a half dozen). Thanks! The site is great overall. Your team has done amazing work on it.

    • Sorry Colleen!

There was a problem with this function BUT good news is it’s now fixed so your list should be back to normal 🙂
