10:07:22 From Kris Carey : That would be repeating the course, right?
10:24:26 From Rachel : So do you use cooking salt for seasoning or good quality salt?
10:26:06 From Lisa Standring : Jules can you talk about the differences in types of salt. Is there really a difference with pink salt or “local” salts. I live in a town near the ocean and there is a local brand of salt – I’ve wondered if it just a nice marketing angle.
10:28:47 From Cynthia : I have Diabetes tyepe2 but no bp issues
10:33:32 From Cynthia : Oh I love that container!
10:40:04 From Rachel : I just tasted my iodised cooking salt compared to my Murray River pink flake salt what a difference
10:41:14 From Sue Fuller : I actually have a salt cellar with it’s own spoon – something I bought for my Mum 60 years ago.
10:42:00 From Lisa Standring : thanks for sharing that Sue. So lovely
10:43:48 From Sue Fuller : It is not something that I generally use,Lisa – but it might be time to start 🙂
10:44:00 From Lisa Standring : hey Sue, would you show it again
10:44:23 From Jules Clancy : 1. Standard
2. + 2 fingered pinch salt
3. + 3 fingered pinch salt
4. +1/4 teaspoon salt
5. + 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
6. Taste salt by itself.
10:44:47 From Lisa Standring : thank you. Hey that might be just the thing to get you excited about cooking again. Was your mom a good cook?
10:48:48 From Sue Fuller : Lisa, Mum got her first job during the depression, aged 14. She obtained a job as a cook/domestic. No previous experience, but she was armed with a copy of “The Commonsense Cookery Book”. Fortunately cooking came naturally to her 🙂
10:52:11 From Jules Clancy : 1. Standard
2. + 2 fingered pinch salt
3. + 3 fingered pinch salt
4. +1/4 teaspoon salt
5. + 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
6. Taste salt by itself.
10:53:04 From Sue Fuller : Jules, just asking – but are you using Australian or US measuring spoon sizes?
10:55:14 From Kit : Thanks, have to get back to work, meetings and all
10:56:43 From Anna Boyle To Jules Clancy(privately) : yes for me also – 2 finger pinch was also too much and also i prefered soy sauce as welll
10:58:08 From Sue Fuller : That is interesting, Kris.
10:58:27 From Kris Carey : Right?! ?
10:58:46 From Cynthia : what did you use Kris instead of soy sauce\
