This was my Mum’s favourite cocktail. I remember watching her make it on the odd occasion with her shiny stainless steel and very professional looking cocktail shaker. Always great fun, but I think you need to be a die hard cream lover like my Mum to drink more than even half of one of these.
Apparently it was also John Lennon’s favourite drink.
serves 1
30mL (1oz) brandy
30mL (1oz) creme de cacao
30mL (1oz) pouring cream ice
pinch nutmeg, to serve
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker along and shake rapidly for a minute or so.
Strain into a glass and top with a dash of nutmeg.
