Week 1. Saturday Entertaining Tonight!

Welcome to our first full day of recipes for the planning class!

It’s Saturday and we’re having some friends over for dinner so the menu is looking a lot more fancy that I would usually be cooking. Don’t worry, we’ll be going back to more simple meals during the week.

SATURDAY BRUNCH

:: a classic omelette with baby spinach*

SATURDAY DINNER

:: salt roast almonds

:: slow roast beef brisket
:: BBQ sauce
:: cheat’s hollondaise
:: baby cos salad with buttermilk dressing
:: the ultimate roast potatoes*

:: chocolate peanut butter tart with double cream

Note: The recipes with an asterix ‘*’ have been included in our ‘template recipe collection’. The others are just for fun and interest.

    • Thanks Michelle!
      It was actually linking to an old blog that I no longer have. So I’ve removed the link.
      Really appreciate you taking the time to let me know!

  • re: romesco, what if you don’t have a grill, is there a way to roast the pepper and get same results? also, what is “saffron water” in same recipe?

  • i understood that hollandaise doesn’t keep well and will “break” if you refrigerate and then reheat, is this not true?
