  • Hey Jules, thanks for the invite after the slow cooker session. I am so glad I decided to re-check my emails today and saw that it expired tomorrow! I have been looking at this program for ages, but just haven’t taken the leap. I was going to leave it again this time using the excuse that “I am going away camping for a month so wouldn’t be able to do it” but thought, honestly, I have nothing to lose!
    So thank you, I am looking forward to giving it a go for a few months and see what happens from there!

  • Thanks Jules for the invite after the slow cooking session. I am on a low FODMAP diet and never joined previously as I saw that it wasn’t suitable. So I will have to see how it goes and if I can adjust. Looking forward to trying at least!

    • The low FODMAP thing can be tricky Kim – My husband still has difficulties from time to time.

      It really comes down to your particular sensitivities and how comfortable you are with adjusting.

  • I was apprehensive in viewing and joining another cooking/recipe type organisation when told about Stonesoup but wekened and checked it out. After three weeks of trying a few dishes I joined up to access the Meal Plans. This site has so much information and ingredient mixes to produce such tasty but also easy to prepare meals. Thankyou Jules for your hard work and dedication. As a 75 year old (male) I get great satisfaction in preparing gold star meals for The One Who Ownd Me!

      Why don’t you start with telling yourself you don’t have time NOT to plan for your health goals. Taking a few minutes to plan every week (or whatever time frame works for you) will actually save you so much time down the track – less trips to the store, less mind drama thinking about what to cook every day.

      And using these recipes will save you time cooking and cleaning up.

      You’ve got this – just trust the process.

    My husband and I are retired and have never been busier so we’d like to have nutritious, veggie filled meals that are quick and easy.

  • I feel overwhelmed. I am caring for a husband who has dementia and a son who is partially paralyzed. We have some dietary restrictions. We don’t do dairy because it upsets our stomachs and we have nut allergies. I hope this works out. I will try it for a month and see.

    • That must be hard taking care of two people Lynda.

      Building the habit of using a meal plan will definitely help with the overwhelm.

      Make sure you look for the dairy-free (paleo) variations I include for each recipe. And also the nut-free variations as well.

  • I’ve been putting this off for over a year, and with Covid lock downs I’ve gained 7kg. This is MY time, and I’m so looking forward to it!
