11:36:46 From Marissa Kennerson : I have to run. Thank you, everyone!
11:37:53 From Margaret : How can I deal with unexpected stressful event which I responded to with stress eating. After my wallet dropped out of my handbag with all my cards which had to be stopped and replaced and my breastfeeding daughter in another state had to go to ED after gastric illness for a week. I didn’t care about the consequences but the stress eating gave me a stomach ache. Any advice for this.
06:05:41 From Jennifer Lynch : I like it and it’s helpful to have things in writing
06:06:11 From Mandy : Yay Vicky!
06:06:16 From Mandy : Opa!
06:07:08 From Anke Betz : Super helpful! Copied that method yesterday, also with Greek take-out! ☺️

06:08:07 From Marit : Will you be offering Joyful Cooking again?
06:09:57 From Marit : Thanks!
06:12:26 From Emma : 👍
06:13:49 From Marit : That’s super cool, Mandy!
06:14:06 From Jennifer Lynch : Great reframing!
06:15:09 From Kari Richards-Dinger (she/her) : Thanks for sharing, Mandy. I love it!!
06:15:56 From Mandy : !!! Thanks y’all! Super excited about it.
06:22:44 From Mandy : I have found that mental rehearsal in the morning quite helpful when I face the fridge mid-day.
06:25:47 From Anke Betz : I#M fine with pretty much everything, except planning the treat, that totally stresses me out!
06:33:45 From Mandy : Interesting to note that I seem to have intuitively incorporated a lot of these already.
06:33:55 From Marit (she/her) : Reacted to “Interesting to note …” with 👍
06:34:34 From Anke Betz : I’ve had a morning routine that includes lots of this even before NHC… 😋
06:34:45 From Vicky : I found in the past that writing down something I can celebrate and giving myself credit for something that went well makes me proud of myself and helps me keep going with the plan…..
06:34:55 From Mandy : @Anke 👍🏼
06:35:10 From Marit (she/her) : Reacted to “I found in the past …” with 👍
06:35:17 From Marit (she/her) : Reacted to “I’ve had a morning r…” with 👍
06:35:20 From Mandy : @Vicky 🎆
06:36:17 From Marit (she/her) : I ended up adding in like 6 things to my daily practice at the beginning since I was so excited about it 🙂 I’ve been enjoying it!
06:37:33 From Marcia Moore : I also occasionally have a problem with a treat. About half the time. Some days I just skip planning a treat.
06:38:15 From Jennifer Lynch : I feel anxious about planning a treat
06:39:08 From Marney Wilson : I plan a treat, but then change it up depending on how I feel at the time.
06:40:38 From Marney Wilson : Sometimes fruit, sometimes yoghurt, or nuts or cheese or chocolate
06:41:15 From Marit (she/her) : I really liked what you said about having coffee and reading something, Anke — could it be having coffee and scrolling through your phone rather than a book?
06:43:17 From Mandy : @Anke: for me, it really mattered to change the name from “treat” to “indulgence” and now “dose of delicious.” Words are important to me, so finding a way to frame it in a way that indicates enjoyment to me was important. (treat makes me feel like a dog getting a reward…)
06:43:28 From Marit (she/her) : Reacted to “@Anke: for me, it re…” with 👍
06:43:44 From Mandy : I also remember someone saying she made some really delicious tea and took a bath with candles, and that was her treat.
06:44:49 From Vicky : Anke – I love chips too. I tried putting chips in mini storage bags about 2 cups worth per bag, and then put the bags away in a cupboard and it slowed down how fast I at them (but to be honest I still had 2 bags in 1 day sometime ;-9
06:45:22 From Mandy : I like that idea @Vicky!
06:45:42 From Marit (she/her) : Reacted to “Anke – I love chips …” with 👍
06:47:24 From Mandy : Gotta go… thanks y’all!
06:47:35 From Sue : A treat does not necessarily have to be food
06:50:54 From Anke Betz : Reacted to “Anke – I love chips …” with ☺️
06:51:01 From Anke Betz : Reacted to “@Anke: for me, it re…” with 😄
06:51:22 From Anke Betz : Reacted to “A treat does not nec…” with 👍🏻
06:51:40 From Anke Betz : Thanks all for your comments and ideas!
06:54:30 From Anke Betz : Yeah, Marit! I know all about working through meal times…
06:56:28 From Emma : Julz, eceived coaching I needed during the call. I have gone down rabbit hole of EPIC BELIEF PLAN. Decided to cut back on sentences I write.
06:57:15 From Marit (she/her) : Reacted to “Yeah, Marit! I know …” with 👏
06:57:39 From Emma : That was me.
06:58:13 From Marit (she/her) : Thanks Jules and everyone!
